As some of you know, We have two sons in the armed forces one in the RAF and one in the Army

We sent a pm to a member here who I will name, asking for one of his shots so we could print it twice, once as a present to him as he works on this aircraft and one to hang in the officers mess on the Falklands

He says he doesnt want any payment at all (he is very modest and has given his reasons) I would love to pay him for his amazing shot

SO LETS GIVE HIM A VERY BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE

:clap::clap:KEVSHORE:clap::clap:

Kev I would just like to say a great big thanks for your generousity. Our son is going to be so chuffed when he receives the harrier shots and he will treasure them.We are so proud of him and (his brother )and you are going to make his day .He's away to the Falklands very shortly for 4 months. So Thanks again and have a great Christmas, you deserve it

A round of applause from me as well.:clap::clap:

Since Kev doesn't want payment but you would like to show your appreciation, maybe you could bung whatever you feel is appropriate at the RAF Benevolent Fund?

We do this as a regular payment lol from our card yearly

Our main sposor at the moment is the green dot
and we do contribute to all other causes but we want to give £10x 2 to any good cause let us know and a D3 CAUSE IS NOT A WORTHY CAUSE unless its for me;) so show me the causes

Pete,
Thank you very much for this post. It really was a pleasure to be of service. I enjoy my photography and have a huge respect for all our lads/lasses serving our country.
I hope both of your lads have a safe Christmas. You should be very proud of them. As should be the rest of this nation.

Kev.

Well said Kev, it's a shame more people in this country don't think like that. I have nothing but respect for anyone in the armed forces.

If anyone does go to the Falklands and sees this photo and questions it then contact Kev as its his and copyright belongs to him

 Kev, fair play to you indeed. A very kind gent.

Pete, you aint none too bad either, with all the kind offers you've made me today :notworthy:

I think most people have respect for the frontline servicemen and women, I certainly do, it's the politicians on 20x the wages who put them there with inadequate equipment and treat them like crap when they come back I have no respect for.

I read recently the 3 governments that spend the most on defence are the USA, France and us, so why are our troops driving about in 20 year old landrovers
