I have an audi a3 TDi 2009 reg which I got not long ago which someone decided to drive into the back of on the way home on Monday. :bang:
Come to think, not heard much from the insurers since I reported it. Need to start the marathon job of chasing up all and sundry I suppose.
I hope they were British, I had a polish driver of an Italian Vehicle go into the back of me. 6 months on it was finally sorted.
Sure thang!
A few iPhone pics I took for Richard of Refined Detail who spent a day on detailing it for us. He did an amazing job on the car:
I have a Jaguar XF, and an Audi TT prior to that.
Same as before but much more fun after a Celtic stage 2 remap.
There's something quite mesmerising about seeing your car on a rolling road
The good bit is when the rolling road operator goes into the main part of the garage and gets all the mechanics to come and watch the power run, saying "have a listen to this, 9000 revs! It's like a motorbike!"
and I have to disappoint them all by telling them it's just the engine out of a 45 year old Hillman Imp, not anything new and fancy with variable valve timing or anything like that ... and yes that smell is Castrol R40
And yes, that growing puddle on the floor must have come past the Wills rings somehow! :bang:

Horsey got a good thrashing the other week too.
Before and after the remap... measured at wheels. The tune was to improve low and mid range torque... I think we can safely say... mission accomplished
[Actually I love Imps and would love a Clan even more! ]
I was at Cadwell Park for the Wolds Trophy meet Saturday and spotted this
That's Peter Richards car. It's really, really well put together and he competes it all over Europe. Retired due to a broken oil pump drive belt (it's dry sumped) on Sunday.
No cut away on this one, although i did view one that had it.The only car I've sold on that I would buy back if I found it again! Mine was powder blue and a '59. Yours looks like it's had the back of the tub cut away a bit to improve access to the rear storage - as kids, my sister and I used to get sat behind the front seats on the rear axle hump when Mum had hers! 948cc of rorting fun! (Although, TBH, my wife's MX-5 is a far better car!)
This is my summer toy. 1974 Ford Escort mk1 RS2000.
I love it (and the colour)!
However, I suspect it would look so much better without the massive rally lights?

Very possibly going to have a look at an XK8 for my wife at the weekend - just call us the Prescotts if it happens! Waiting to hear a bit more about the thing before gong up to Bath to view it and possibly bring it home.
Thanks to Lorraine at Grange for her time even though we told her up front that we probably couldn't afford (OK, wouldn't!) their prices - she looked to see if their group had ever looked after the car and what the trade price on it is. She did have a loo to see what the group had to suit but it was all about twice what we want to pay for a 2nd car. Of course, I did lay it on a little that I would be in the market for a Sportbrake version of what I currently have in a couple of years - I rather fancy a V8 petrol rather than the V6 Diesel but so far, all the ones they've sold have been Diesels. Lucky moo was fortunate enough to be sent to Estoril for the F-Type launch - nasty job but someone has to do it!!!

Sounds like a fair swop
So, what'll you give me for a Y plate MX-5? (And don't say "A step-daughter." - she'll kick your nuts off!!!)
