What is a tiffin b-w filter ?

Reason I ask is that I had a new lens bought for me by my partner and this was in with it along with a few other bits and bobs ie a pixel oppilus wireless remote .

Probably a coloured filter to increase contrast with black and white film. What does it look like?

Hi it fits to front of the lens and can turn similar to a polariser I suppose

what colour is it.. tiffin do a range of black and white filters that alter tonal contrast when shooting in B&W ( yellow, red, green, and blue )
