Hey there! I have to submit some photos for one of university modules, including a lowlight photo. As a complete beginner I'm not 100% sure what counts as lowlight! I have taken a few photos of different locations while the sun was setting, but was still light ish...can anybody explain about what is and isn't a lowlight photo? Cheers!

off the top of my head, anything astrophotography related would definitely count as Low Light (2 words), as would "light trails" from traffic, planes, fireworks for example...

Lowlight (1 word) could be interpreted as the opposite of Highlight - so, using shadows to draw the eye to a section of a photograph...

in this situation, that space makes a world of difference...

Dusk, twilight ,dimly lit interiors-that's lowlight in my book

Personally I’d say anything over a sensible hand holding speed is low light, be it inside or outside.
Its certainly open to interpretation though.
Maybe ask the tutor to clarify.

Take a photo of a blonde with dark streaks dyed in his/her hair under moonlight - both options (lowlight and low light) covered!
