What is the file/ folder
DOCUME 1\PC USER 1\LOCALS 1\TEMP
This came up in a error messege for PS Bridge which windows wanted to report and I wondered if it was connected to the error and how
 
That's just the folder, you need to identify the file.
 
The end part of the messege is
efce_appcomput.txt
I ran a search for documents using the 1\pc user 1\locals and there lots of word and ps documents and lots of unidentified documents.
I have to say I dont really know what I am doing I just know I am getting frustrated with this computar running so slow and Bridge crashing
Any pointers will be appreciated
 
It's a temporary folder used by windows and apps whilst you're working, editing photos, etc.

It should get cleared out but never really does and you end up with a lot of rubbish. Close down all the applications and navigate to _temp_ folder and delete all the files you can. Windows will probably have a few open file which you can't delete but don't worry about them.

Also clear out c:\windows\temp.

Better still download CCleaner and let it clear out the junk.
 
If you are running x-vid then you need the k-lite codec pack which should stop the appcomput.txt mesager appearing.

If not it is likely you are running a program not compatible with your op. sys. Removing it should fix the problem
