For The D3000?

Could someone possibly send me a link to it on the jessops site, or any cheaper options for one?

Thanks:thumbs:

don't go cheap
if you get poor memory it will likely be slow, wind you up and perhaps lose some of your data.
I bought a mymemory CF card, it's beyond rubbish and really limits the performance of my camera in review and the speed at which I can take rapid photos.

my money gets spent on sandisk. One of the ultra or extreme cards will work nicely. you don't need to spend hundreds of pounds but an extreme 8GB will be about 30 quid online

Some extreme 3's are in order I think!! :)

I've bought a total of eight Sandisk Extreme III cards from Amazon.co.uk. I've found them to be both fast and reliable. I would concur with the warnings on buying cheap but nasty memory cards.

If you're into wildlife or sports or any other form of fast moving photography I'd say Extreme III's are a must. I once tried photographing some Elephants with a bog standard SD card in my Canon 450D and found the camera buffer kept filling up and locking the camera until the photos were written to the painfully slow card.

Had a SanDisk Extreme III SD card in my last camera and it was more than faster enough. Highly recommended...

I have a Kingston 8gb and its the business.

Also very cheap

The only reason to get expensive cards of the Sandisk variety is if you intend to hold your finger on the shutter button and rattle off multiple exposures as in sporting events etc. There is nothing wrong with cheap cards if you just press the button once or twice or so, then move on like most of us do. You are no more likely to lose pictures on a cheap card than you are on a Sandisk.

I have 15 4gb CF cards, only one of them being a Sandisk, an Extreme III. This was the first 4gb card that I bought, when under 1gb was the norm. It cost me around £150 some years ago. It has been no better than the cheap Dane Elecs and similar that cost me under £20. I've even done 5 or 6 shots in quick succession on the cheap ones without being held up by writing, but that could be down to the Canon as much as the card. In fact, one of the Dane Elecs has been through the washing machine and still kept all the pictures. But then it should do anyway. Not one of the cheap ones has let me down in any way over 5 years or so.

Cheapest options will probably be on 7DayShop.com
