Well in january me and a friend are plannign a weekend away in temple bar to do abit of photography and sight seeing along with sampling the local beer guiness mmm.

Now with it only being a weekend were only taking hand luggage so just wondered what you guys would take.

Now im fairly new to photography so dont have 7 camera bodies ££££ of lenses etc, so not too much of an issue on weight size etc, just along the liners of filters lights (torches mainly for light painting) what would you take?

Also has anybody taken a tripod in hand luggage and had issues with security etc.?

Thanks

Eh up fellow wakey tog. depends what your planning to mainly shoot, you shouldnt need the tripod if your not doing any night stuff or landscape work. You can get enough kit in a medium photo backpack.

And now i find the reason i got the friend request hehe

We arnt too sure exactly what were planning to take, probabbly portraits and street work if last year was anything to go by (some interesting people to say the least).

:)

Hi Paul

For me an important one is to not forget your battery charger and also have plenty of memory cards - easily done when thinking of travelling light i.e. too light
