what to buy?

i am due a bonus of around £400-£450 before christmas and i can't make my mind up what to buy!
sigma 10-20mm lens,
canon ring flash
carbon fibre tripod, not sure which yet.
any other suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

oh, i havea canon 350d, sigma 70-300 lens, canon 17-40L lens and a 430 speedlite and i am waiting on a canon 50mm after hereing everyone rave about it.

Your exisitng kit's good so why not use the money to fund a week in a country with lots of nice photo opportunities?

Use it to pay for a freelancer to cover your job while you're away?

Stick it in an ISA if you don't know what to buy. hehe.

Well i'd knock the ring flash off the list, you don't have a macro lens and for portriats i've heard it's too small for anything other than headshots.

Sigma 10-20 or tripod, that's really up to you tbh, try to take a step back and objectively decide what would benefit you most

I can recommend the Sigma 10-20, however it depends if you shoot anything that may require that wide and angle, what about a battery grip - do you have one of those yet?

Also a decent tripod can last a life time, so definately worth getting a good one.
