Beginner Whats this bright star?

Hello, so i've been away in Yorkshire for the past week and had a dabble at all sorts of photography, Took this and now i've uploaded it the star is huge! am now thinking it maybe a planet??

Almost certainly Venus.

Morning or evening sky? Venus is in the morning at the moment and Jupiter rising in the evening. Jupiter is hanging off the 'hind leg' of Leo.

Was evening! If any help that was the east!! Well that's where the sun rose from!

If it was after about 8.45 pm it would have been Jupiter.

Definitely Jupiter. If you look on a star chart you can identify some of the stars in the lower part of Leo and its neighbour Virgo. If you happen to have another shot showing more sky you may see more of the brighter part of Leo.
