If you had to keep just one lens what would it be?

Mine would be my Canon 500mm f4 (closely followed by my canon 24-70 f2.8).

I've had other lenses in the past and sold them cos I wasn't that impressed with them and didn't use them much (e.g. canon 70-200mm f2.8).

I'm thinking of getting another couple of lenses and figured this might be a good way to gauge peoples opinions about what they use.

300-800 F5.6.................the rest can go,except my old 35 F2...........:D
 
Probably my 100mm f/2.8 macro....as well as doing the macro, it's great portrait lens, and I took it to the zoo on a horrible day and it was just awesome! For a low price, mid-telephoto, fast lens, it's hard to beat!

I think it's going to be a 77mm f1.8.
Not got it yet, not got the camera it goes on either yet but in the next week or so it will be mine all mine. Mmmaaaahhhh ha ha

If i Had to keep one lens and one alone............:cautious:..............It would be the siggy3-8.

But the Nikon 2-4 must be a corker,never used one,but it must be a cracker.
 
if i had to keep one of my lenses it would be my 18-135 kit lens simply because its the most flexible lens in my kit, other than that my fav in my kit is my trusty 80-200 f 2.8
 
mine has to be my 70-200mm F2.8 EX HSM, its a cracker...
 
At the moment I am enjoying my 400 f5.6 L but I do love the MP-e 65 for its uniqueness and quality.

EF-S 55-250 IS at the mo, it pretty much lives on the camera.
