Where to buy a new desktop ??

My desktop has died today and its not going to be economical to fix, I usually use Mesh computers, but is there any other good retailers out there with decent offers on. ??

Mesh are still good, I went for an alienware laptop, its 17inch so not really portable very upgradable, the respawn program works like a treat should you get into trouble, cost £1700 sli graphic card config, I can run autocad,Rhino,solidworks while browsing the net and uploading pics to photobucket, and it looks the dogs nuts ;p

In what way has it died? Has the hardware actually clapped out or is Windows just shagged? Sorry if this sounds patronising, it's just that a lot of people think that their computer has had it when Windows needs repairing.

normally i dont have anything bad to say about dell.. apart from alienware.. waaaaay overpriced and for the amount of battery life you may as well buy a desktop.
 
I'm also a big fan of Dell but I also user Novatech. Got a great i5 barebnes system from them at a great price.

Not patronising at all, I had been having problems with it generally running slow, then very very slow friday, switched it off friday night and that was that, it will not start back up at all, doesn't even start the fans running. I have had a local IT guy take a look and the power supply is good but the mother board and cpu are dead !! its just over 3 years old and was a pretty good system cost around £900.

I have had Dell systems in the past, but stop using them when all there call cetres went to India, and I found it very difficult to understand what was being said.
I am only needing a base unit, got a decent monitor.

I second Novatech. Currently using my latest purchase from them to type this.
