Hi,

I have got an assignment where I need a model(s) - female or male(dont know yet). They would need to have little to no experience in modelling. This is due to the fact that I have never done this sort of photography before and dont want the model(s) to be impatient with my skill level. Thanks.

Try modelmayhem or purestorm... You may find people there willing to offer time for prints.... But it'll take a bit of effort on your part - as there are a lot of people there that dream of being a model, but do very little to achieve it :) Good luck!

I concur - have had a good response from Model Mayhem.

Could be an idea to pay a model, that way they wont be expecting usable images as payment. if you use a model for TFCD or TFP they will expect to see some examples of you work & judge whether your work is useful to them also, a paid model may be more likely to turn up & if any good, give you time to think about the lighting etc.

Visions of the blind leading the blind here ;)

Actually I'd recommend you use a model WITH experience, you can learn a lot using someone who does know what they are doing otherwise you run the risk of you both not knowing a thing and blank stares all round. ;)

(Tongue in cheek but I think you get the idea!)

I'm with Alison here - my brother and I took pics of a friend and her friend. Nobody really knew what to do and while all of us were happy with a few of the final shots working with somebody who knows what they are doing proved much more satisfying.
