Hi all,
Can anybody give me some advice on how to get some feedback and advice? I posted some shots in the wildlife section 4 days ago (as they were indeed wildlife shots) but have only had one reply so far. Now, they might not have been the most groundbreaking pics ever but I am pretty pleased with them and thought I might have got a few more replies on how they could be improved, especially the PP. Is it just that the Wildlife section isn't overly popular or am I just being impatient??

Hi Phil,

In the talk photography section there is a post called 'bump your thread - helpers on hand' it is stickied at the top or you can use this link. In any event this thread from what I have read is for cases like yours where there has been no or few comments.

The kind people here appreciate that sometimes so many posts come in on a daily basis that some are overlooked so they made this thread as a place to check for those still looking for help (clever people) :)

Hi Phil, it can be a bit hit and miss getting crit, the forum is pretty busy and 'New Posts' is limited to 12 pages so lots get missed. There is a thread somewhere to list your post in if it hasn't been seen so you might check for that. Sometimes I look at a pic and I just can't think what to say about it so I don't post.
Keep trying though, I do even though I sometimes feel like giving up. :)

^^^ What he said :D

Thanks for the replies guys. I will give the thread you mentioned a go :)

Failing that just post a thank you to the poster that replied and it gets put back to the top.
