WHERE,WHAT and WHEN!!!!

[archangel]

Over the next month or two I will be in and out of London on various projects. Some times I will have breaks of 3 and 4 days and was looking to put the free time to good use, possibly by trying to get into some events and maybe get some celeb shots. Is there a web site or business out there that offers information or other channels to this sort of gig?

I know over here in Ireland its a b****r to get info unless you want to spend all day reading newspapers which by that time the event is usually over:bonk:

And there you have pretty much hit the nail on the head!

There are a couple of sites worth looking at for an overview:

http://www.viewlondon.co.uk/whats-on.aspx

http://www.timeout.com/london/

and also the Met Police Events list is worth looking at for Marches and Rallies:

http://www.met.police.uk/events/index.htm

They don't list what the Political rallies are, so you have to piece the info together for yourself.

But if you want a list of which Celeb is going to be where, that's either going to be very costly, or mean lots of reading, and reading between the lines.

Demotix used to have an Event calendar, but they seem to have culled it in their upgrade.

The What's On guides should cover all the general stuff, but if you want PJ/Pap style info, then you'll have to graft for it I'm afraid!
