I am sending some of my gear into be cleaned and given the once over by Canon....(Body and Lenses) I am a CPS member so hopefully I'll get it back quite quickly but, Which one of the service centers would you recommend/avoid ? ....Experiences please ?

I used the Elstree Service Centre for a service on my old 500d in April. Good service throughout and turned around within a week. Expensive though at £155 for service and new focussing screen.

Well Canon themsevles only have the one center at Elstree, the other are companies doing on behalf of Canon.
Personally I have use 3 of them Canon, Fixation and Lehmanns. There sevice from Elstree was fisrt rate and could not have been bettered (sent as a CPS member)
Fixation was very good as well, but found Lehmanns to be rather slow, they do the job no problem, just took a bit longer than the others.
My first choice will be Canon Elstree in the future.
