I'm sure this has been asked 100s of times before, but hey questions keep the forum busy don't they?
I'm very much a stills man only using an old GoPro for incar really footage a few times a year. With that I use Windows movie maker to cut to length and make it ready for you tube.
With a big Florida holiday coming up, a few other bits and bobs and the need to have remote control in the rally car I have bought a hero 7 black.
With the Florida holiday is like to try to make a decent stab at a video / videos to keep for the future. It's likely to incorporate plenty of normal and fast speed footage and have some music laid over it too.
The question is what software do I need? Ideally it will be free, bit at the same time I know what I'm like and the likelihood is I'll end up upgrading quickly. I don't really want to spend more than about a fiver a month, maybe slightly more because I might only use it a few times then forget about it for ages. I currently have Adobe for lightroom on the monthly package for my stills work.
Recommendations please?
