All have live view and non have built in AF motors. Canon EF & EF-S fit lenses all have motors. The 500/550D also have HD video.
450d doesn't do live view does it?
yes it does.
I thought the nifty fifty was cheap because no motor and the body had the motor?
Thanks.
Thanks.450D with live view and kit lens may then be a good starter.
Any suggestions for good Canon wide angle lens and zoom lens ..not too expensive as I'm not laying out that much..though enough..if I buy 450D.Thanks.(Landscapes)

The 450D is a great camera. See the link below for the best deal at the moment.

Thanks.Don't use ebay.Kerso is offering 450D + kit lens for ?400.Imagine it's the US version.
I thought Kerso was an EBay site. If they are from the US they will be the Rebel xti, not a 450D.
I thought they were the same camera...Rebelxti and 450D?
Sorry,Rebel xsi
It would. Don't discount the 40D though. It has live view and prices have tumbled since the release of the 60D. They can be had for between £300-£350 if you look hard enough.
If you can, wait until after Christmas and look on ebay. There will be lots of people selling in a bid to either pay for the season excess or due to upgrades.
Does anyone have or has anyone had the XSI model?would it bother you that it was the US model? This is the model I have the chance of getting.
