Which position?

What position do you like to take pictures? Normal shots of the camera or on its side?

Ive taken some brillant pictures by having the camera on its side.

If you mean in portrait mode then this is normal. You are expected to take shots in landscape mode (base of the camera towards the ground) or portrait mode (base of the camera to the right or left). Or occasionally straight up or down....... However you like so long as it gets the desired effect.

Well...it kind of depends on the subject really, doesn't it?
