I have just bought my first SLR (so idiot question alert), a Nikon D50 and need to get a memory card for it.
While I have various SD/SD adaptors knocking about in various sizes I suspect they are all mostly on the cheap/slow/fake side. These will be fine for odd shots initially I am sure but I want to get a decent card as well.
I am currently looking at the Sandisk Ultra and Extreme on Play in the 2GB size. The Ultra is a class 4 @ £6.99 and the extreme is a class 10 for an extra £2.50.
I guess I am asking if I am really going to notice the class speed difference as a beginner. £2.50 isn't much but over 3-4 cards say that's starting to be enough to buy something else I need, or 1/3rd of a bag etc.
