Which teleconvertor?

I have a 100-400L zoom, I'm considering adding 1.4x tele or possibly 2x, do I need to stick to a Canon oe or can I use a different make, if so what do you peeps recommend? Ta.
Hope this in the correct forum, wondered about Talk equipment but not sure, sorry mods please move if required..

Best alternative to Canon is the Kenko Pro 300 1.4x.

I agree ^^ There is a newer model now I believe 'DGX'

Get the DGX as it will fool the camera and let you AF under the right light even on an xxxD and xxD series

No teleconverters will work with EF-s lenses
