I'm finding I get quite a few white spots on my negs and presume it's a problem with my developing technique. Is it air bubble or something else?

Just above the bottom border, right of centre. Ignore the crease in the top right, this is the first time I've loaded the reel and only damaged one frame.

Almost certainly dust spots on the negs. You're getting away lightly there, it can get a lot worse than that! Easily dealt with if you're scanning the negs - just touch/clone them out.

And in the top right it looks like you fought with the film at some point and creased it?

Just got yr edit =/ nvm

Usually, these spots are picked up while the film is drying and they adhere to the emulsion. Try hanging your wet film in the bathroom which is likely to have a more moist atmosphere and less airborne dust. Negs are prone to picking up dust though every time you handle them and enlarger neg carriers and neg carriers in scanners are particular sources of picking up more dust. It was always one of the biggest pains in the bum for me, and the main reason I don't miss the printing process one bit. Pre -digital the only way to deal with spots on prints was to hand spot them out with very expensive specialist retouching paints and fine brushes and the work was almost always detectable.

Dealing with dust spots with scanned negs is a walk in the park.

White spots on the "print" are usally down to dust spots on the emulsion ( film) after developing. Black spots are due to dust on the Emulsion (film) in the camera at the time of exposure.
