White Swan taken with new lens which I was out with this morning.
Sigma 180mm f/3.5 EX APO Macro IF.
Not to sure about the shadow swan however its different.
He was starving will go there again in the morning and give him a good feed.

Nice shot, can't see any distinct footprints, is he trapped?

No not trapped just had not moved for some time must have been saving energy but when my daughter started to throw some feed out he came over to us no worries.

I will call in and feed him again in the morning.
Plus there was a big hill my daughter took a fancy to with her sledge.
 
Official name is Mute Swan. A couple of nice pictures and the first one give a real wilderness look. You make a very good point about starvation of birds in these conditions, it is vital we keep them fed in this weather.
