Yes
As the title says. I've come by something rather nice which I think should be insured. Since its an old film camera that's not been in production for a long time my insurance provider says it should be valued by a "specialist" before I could claim for its loss or damage. Who would be qualified to do such a thing? I'm based in Yorkshire (Hull) if anyone knows anybody nearby.

There's a lot of film cameras that are no longer in production.. most of them I'd imagine.

If it's genuinely rare/valuable I'm sure a specialist auction house could help, I think Bonham's had a large antique camera sale last year.

Matt.. what is this camera? You're just teasing us by not giving a make or description.. ;)

Rolleiflex Automat :)
All in good nick as far as I can see. Just gotta finish and dev the first film to make sure.

The price of these TLR camera,s does depend on which type and the lens, but, I have never seen one go above £500 yet and at that level it should or would be covered on your household insurance.
