I was just wondering, I’m going through quite a tricky patch in life at the moment and I’m not really enjoying myself all that much.
But regardless of all the things that are going wrong in my life I have always found that going out and taking photographs gives me a total break from all of my problems and when I get home, sit down, go through the images, pick out 2 or 3 and work on finishing them I still get a huge feeling of achievement which can keep me going for a while.
Why do so many of us get up at silly times in the morning or climb through overgrown woodland or risk being insulted in a city centre to catch an image that 9 times out of 10 will never be seen, and the 1 time it is seen it is only truly appreciated by your fellow photographers in places like this?
What makes you do it and what do you get from it (it being photography by the way
)
