OK, I failed miserably last year at my attempts at a 365 after about 65 days, so this year I want to see how far I get with a 52, hopefully I can last the pace, work dependent!
Wibbly, I like the lighting on this. I would have probably tried to clone out the clock radio and the plug on the far wall. Looks like the radio is sticking out the side of the chair.
Nice one. I like the lighting, esp the strong shadows. You've managed to make an ordinary scene interesting.
I must admit I didn't notice the clock, but when it's pointed out I guess it is a bit distracting. I do find the dark line across the bottom a bit distracting - is that the lighting or part of your copyright logo?
Great use of the available lighting in the bedroom to create a lovely looking scene, didn't notice the clock at first as my eye was instantly drawn to the big red sqwuare on teh duvet though hehe. Looking forward to more from you.
OK, this week has been a bit of a struggle amazingly trying to find something of real interest. :bonk:
I ended up doing this, as I recently bought the Canon 40d to replace the GF1 so it's kind of in with the new and out with the old.... Problem is, I could only shoot it with my iPhone so quality isn't the best - hopefully you get the idea tho!
Week 2 New - The idea and composition both work well and fit the theme, don't worry about having taken it on a phone. My minor crit would be a bit of cloning needed to remove dirt and dust from the table they are on and I would have taken the strap off first before shooting the camera. Just minor points but attention to detail can really make or break these style of shots.
^ Yip ... to be honest... brutally honest... that is a poor shot... with not much thought as people have done similar for other themes... I've promised myself I wont be doing a somputer screen or macro of a book!
Your first image was stunning... second was good... come on... you need a stonker like no 1 again for this week!
I am doing a bit of a catch up at the moment so sorry it has taken some time for me to get to your thread.
I agree with Mark about your week 3 shot, but at least you got a photo to post for the week.
I notice that you haven't posted since then, so I hope what Mark said hasn't made you feel dispondent and punched your inspiration.
It would be great to see you get back on track and hopefully catch up with the missed weeks.
Comments and critique can seem harsh at times, but that should hopefully help with the learning experience and improve photography skills.
Please don't give up. Afterall, we are probably all going to have a couple of weeks were we either lack motivation or inspiration. That is why we are all here, to support each other through this project.
