I need some help really. I am thinking about purchasing a wide angle lens. I would like to use one for landscapes, but also for dynamic portraits, including surroundings etc.
I am not sure which to go for, which focal lengths etc. I have looked at the Tamron 17-35mm f/2.8-f/4, which seems a nice lens, however I am not sure whether that is wide enough on a crop body (I am using a Canon 40D). I have also looked at the Sigma 12-24mm, however thats more expensive.
Please let me know what you think! Any suggestions of other lenses also appreciated.
If you own any samples of these lenses, or lenses of these type - please send me some links here, so I can have a look.
I will be grateful for all help!
