The two young are doing well Chris, the parents are feeding them like mad and they are all hanging around the nest site.

I could watch them all day long, wonderful birds. They were literally flying 20 feet over my head and chasing each other, far too quick for me i`m afraid.....

Really nice set...........given the circumstances you describe, you did an excellent job of getting these. I would be well happy :clap::clap:

Good to hear Ade (y)
And yep they're a little on the quick side :D
Just curious for my own benefit
is this the same pair that you said roughly, I doubt that they will breed
this year and I said its getting a bit late but there is still time?
( not looking to say I told you so, :D ) I just wondered if they did breed a little late or its another pair?

Same pair mate................

I didn`t think they would hatch, but sure am glad to be proved wrong..............(y)

Cool thats good to hear (y)

I like them all great set. Great story of their behaviour too. Shame about the ballsed up chopped its wing off piccie., these are the ones that make us go back again and again though.

Definitely the best very nice Ade (y)

Any idea what they are feeding on?

Pretty sure one was a young rabbit and the handover looked awful like a blackbird Chris,i`ll check all the shots.

Yeah Cheers Ade, I'd appreciate that (y)
peregrines are not really ones for ground game preferring to take prey on the wing
( less chance of getting injured) Rabbits when nailed roll over and over
rather like a crocodile, lashing out with their hind legs as the do so.
I have known hawks killed by rabbits kicking in their chest

Chris, looks like a rabbit to me,well a bit of one.

I would say that is fur anyway.........
