The Canon Webstore is running a competition to win a brand new Canon EOS 550D Digital SLR Camera, complete with 18-55mm lens.

Looks like a scam to me - all "approved" dealers on the network are using the same web template, all have dodgy terms and conditions, no company registration numbers or VAT numbers displayed - clear breaches of E-Commerce regulations and Sale of Goods act.
 
Yup, page not changed, harvesting active email addresses for spam
 
The 'Canon stores' even sell the Canon Teleconvertors that now work with EF-S lenses. I wonder if Canon know these now work with these? ;-)
