Since upgrading to the latest version of Windows Live Messenger I keep getting a pop-up saying Windows Live Settings has stopped working, this then changes to a box saying Windows is trying to solve the problem and will close the program, then nothing happens until I click close programme myself or click the red X. The only thing I have noticed different is the fact that Windows Live Messenger used to come on automatically when I turned the computer on and now I have to log in by clicking on the symbol. I don't mind having to do that if that is what the message means but how do I stop the pop-ups appearing?
I have tried asking the question on the Webuser forum but although it has had plenty of views no one has bothered to answer, or don't know.
I use TP forums for my photography questions so perhaps someone will answer this one
