Yes
Im on the 3rd floor of an old house, no chance to run cables up to my computer to connect it to the internet so right now im using the wireless connection my laptop and using internet connection sharing.

What im asking is, since I have another BT homehub router can I plug it in up here and use that as a wireless hub where I can just connect my main PC up with a network cable?

If so, what would I need to do?

Thanks

no. a router wont generally connect to other wireless networks (unless they have a bridge mode).

im not sure i understand your problem though, is the wireless weak? or do you want to connect a computer with no wireless?

if the later you can either get some of the powerline units to run network over the mains sockets or you can buy a USB wireless adaptor.

I dont want to have to turn my laptop on just to use the net on my main PC.

and im trying to save as much money as possible.

Ah right, I understand you now- you need to buy a wireless card for your pc- something like http://www.ebuyer.com/product/94526
Thought you might also want to get a usb port extender- as this will increase the range you can have the wireless card from the pc (to pick up a better signal)

you want one of these

use it
a) wired to extend the reach
b) wireless to extend the wireless bit

I got one - dead easy to set up
works a treat
