Hi,
I shoot a lot of sporting events on my Nikon d2X and I would like to use wireless technology to transfer the data; (sending the images straight from the camera to my onsite computer). The problem is I am often a couple of football pitches or a full race track away from the onsite booth with the computer. Is the current wireless technology sufficient to transmit images these kind of distances? Furthermore, there are often numerous distractions in-between the camera and computer (overhead power lines, buildings, people with mobile phones etc).
Initial investigation has pointed to the WT-2A wireless transmitter has anyone used these? I have also read about wireless compact flash cards that are a fraction of the cost ... does anybody have any experience with these?
Thank you in anticipation,
Martyn
