He appeared to have a Canon 300mm 2.8 attached to his camera when interviewed on TV. He popped his built-in flash up when taking a photo for the camera...with his 300mm 2.8 attached

No doubt asked to do so by the Press tog, it's pretty clear that he is highly competent with the camera. I certainly couldn't have got that shot.
