Wordpress on 1&1

Anyone using the latest version of WP 3.2.1 hosted on 1and 1 ?

They have told me that they are running the requires Versions of PHP and MySQL....However after uploading the files and editing the config.php I was greeted with .....

Your server is running PHP version 4.4.9 but WordPress 3.2.1 requires at least 5.2.4.


Anyone had a work around for this or do I have to use an older version of WP??

What was the solution? They've upgraded PHP?

I think they've done the upgrade. I had the same trouble with it when the WP upgrade came out, but all seems fine now.

Sorry for the delay...Yes They have upgraded PHP...There is a drop down option that needs to be ticked ...I'm a bit green on these things,....well I'm not so green now...maybe light green lol
