worlds best photography website

Not really that much of a claim really. Who decides theyre the 'best'.

Flickr has many more images than that.

Also its a commercial project, theyre charging for storage basically, under the name and description of the worlds best photos.

I see the idea, but I dont think its anything 'special' per se.
 
Looked at quite a few shots there and to be honest lots of them are pants.
 
I thought TalkPhotography was the worlds best photographic website!
 
The site itself isn't professional enough to represent its claim, in my oppinion.:thumbsdown:
 
Not really anything about the site that currently "grabs me" some of the current photographs wouldn't class as "worlds best".

The idea sounds an interesting one though so I might revisit in the future to see how it's progressing

ahhh a bit of blowing our own trumpet as TP members.

Its true, TP is definately the best photography website, hands down
 
If those are truly "The Worlds Best Photographs, then I don't have very far to go before I become "The Worlds Best Photographer" :D.

Of course, I'll have to share that distinction with at least 80% of the people here on TP, who already consistently produce better images than some of the one's on that site.

Sorry, it's just a lot of inappropriate hype, IMHO :|.
