I picked up a second hand pantone huey pro for £30
Did a monitor calibration saved the profile and used that for my print profile and Im really please my on-screen images and printed out photos are virtually identical.
On a side note a business I know have seen my latest water drop images and have asked me to do them one with there logo for there pc wallpaper.
