I have Xperia X10, and I'm getting a new one. Now, I have it set up to my liking, all the apps I have downloaded etc. Now, how can I transfer all those to the new one with minimal effort? The apps are not saved to the memory card unfortunately - always kept on the phone memory.

Many thanks for any suggestions.
 
No, its Sim Free, but thats it. :/
 
I think (and I could be wrong) that the apps are attached to your account so you should just be able to download them again (free) onto the new phone?

I don't have an android phone though so could be wrong.
 
That works with an iphone, but not with Android. I've just upgraded my Android phone from 1.5 to 2.1 and had to re-download all the apps. I've not got any paid apps.

Modaco and XDA-Developers have lots of knowledgable Android users.
 
Redownload yes, but if you paid for them I assume your account still knows you paid for them and lets you download them for free again?
 
ah, I'm not sure about that - mean person I am, I've not bought one app! :lol: It's still take a few hours to get everything again though.....
 
if you have paid for an app on android market, system (google) remembers that you have paid and you can download it as many times you want :)
