yahoo mail

just started using yahoo mail i used to be on sky mail
i open a mail read it then when i press the back button it seems to delete the letter
anyone know how to rectify this ?

I still have a Yahoo account that I sometimes use but I haven't noticed that but then again I probably don't use the backspace button to go back. What browser? IIRC a good while ago Chrome stopped the backspace button being "go back" because it is ambiguous what should happen when in a text box, i.e. should backspace delete the previous character or navigate back

When you say "back button", to you mean Backspace on the keyboard, or the back button/icon/arrow in Yahoo?

I've been using Yahoo for many years, never used Backspace, but never had a problem with the back button/icon/arrow.

Just tried Backspace, and it took me back to the Inbox, but didn't delete the email I was looking at. So it is possible. I think there is a new version of Yahoo in the offing though, and you may have that, which I don't yet.
