Some very cool advances in textbook technology for the iPad, and the ebook creation app looks pretty impressive, you need Lion to work it though, am downloading it now to upgrade finally to have a play.

I really love how its free and I can create little mini interactive textbooks for my own kids!

Although having a play with the free life on earth 2 chapters on my ipad it keeps crashing not the greatest first impression.

This is going to change a lot in the education world.

Apple came up with that hypercard thingy in the 80s that was used in some places for interactive learning. I remember using it. Got boring after a while though.

interesting, wonder if MS will release their textbooks. i was trying to find PDF versions of their coursebooks a while ago and didnt have any joy. (okay so i didnt look too hard, 30 seconds later i have the PDF i wanted..)

if its just pdf books though then this wont really mean much, they could have done that already - this is all about interactive content.

true, would be a bit pointless i guess the MS books arent hugely graphical..
