Zoombrowser Ex ......Help!

I've recently upgraded from XP pro to Windows 7 and when I've finally loaded my Canon software it's behaving rather strangely.
I can download my pic's ok but when I select one to process and convert to Jpeg (I shoot RAW) I get a window saying "This program requires a display of 1024 x 768 resolution or more". My Monitor is set at 1680 x 1050.

If I then connect my PC to my television and click on "Process RAW images/Launch DPP. I get a window saying "DPP does not recognise this file format. Please select another image."

The files are CR2 (Canon Raw 2):bang:

Can any kind computer savvy person shed any light on whats going on here please?

Are you using 64 Bit or 32 Bit Windows7 ?

Which version of Zoombrowser ?

I'm running 64bit W7 and Zoombrowser 6.7.2.33 without any problem, admittedly with a 1920x1200 resolution. I've had a look and can't see anything about setting resolutions.

Have you updated your graphics drivers since you updated to W7 as a quick rummage on Google suggests some issues with W7 and your resolution ?

That error message suggests it doesn't recognise 1680x1050 as a valid resolution.

Have you tried updating DPP and/or the RAW processor ? My DPP is version 3.10.2.0

Hi Alistair, Thanks very much for you help. I had, before reading your post, downloaded an update from Canon. Since then I get the "resolution" warning on my TV as well. I'm a bit of a numpty on computers I'm afraid, so be gentle with me

I'm running Windows 7 Home premium 64bit and my Sony TV is set at 1920 x 1080 resolution. I've right clicked on Zb and looked at all the tags (details/security/ previous versions/ etc but can find no info for which version. The cd i used is from a 50D if that helps.

The version is in the 'Help' tab and you want 'About Zoombrowser'.

The updater for Zoombrowser 6.7.2 does have this caution message
'(1)RAW Image Task (for RAW image processing) is not included in the ZoomBrowser EX 6.7.2 Updater software. When using RAW Image Task in ZoomBrowser EX 6.6.0d, after installing ZoomBrowser EX 6.7.2 Updater, download and install ZoomBrowser EX 6.1.1a Updater. In addition, there have been no additions of supported models for RAW Image Task from ZoomBrowser EX 6.1.1. RAW Image Task does not support EOS DIGITAL/PowerShot G10/PowerShot G11/PowerShot G12/PowerShot S90/PowerShot S95/PowerShot SX1 IS(RAW model) cameras released after EOS 50D, and users of these models are advised to use Digital Photo Professional to edit and develop RAW images.'

So you may have to install the 6.1.1a Updater as well.

Have you tried updating the drivers for your graphics card as that's one of the suggested 'fixes' I saw on Google and it does sound like ZB isn't recognising the resolutions you've got or your monitor/TV ?

Beyond these suggestions I'm stuck I'm afraid.
