Workshop Does anyone ever have any workshops in Cornwall ?

I have recently purchased, fitted-out and opened a large photography studio in Redruth. I do intend to run workshops in the future and would welcome any photographers, videographers or other interested persons to visit and let me know what sort of workshops would be of interest. We are holding...

Links to send Premiership Rugby photo's?

My advice to you is that you take as many pictures as possible from as many different places as possible. Once you have enough images you could publish something along the lines of “A season with ….”

    Shooting Judo tips please

70-200 on a D3s As you can see from the un-cropped frame, I was at the edge of the mat. I have used a 1.4 converter in the past and really annoyed people this year with a 400 2.8 400 2.8 D3s 1/250 F4 iso 1250 Shoot to fill the frame but be prepared to crop images.

    Shooting Judo tips please

If you are using auto exposure modes dial-in some positive exposure compensation and try different metering modes, especially spot. Cloud Service for Backing-Up Images

I bought this software last week Arq and use it in conjunction with Amazon S3 "Glacier" class storage. I am using it as an archive and only intend to restore the data if every other backup of my data fails. I am very pleased thus far :)

*HELP* Tour de France (or any other ASO event) press accreditation

It's a bad translation of the French version of the form - Do you have a "Brevet de secouriste ? " In English the question should be - " do you have a first aid certificate ? ".

Best bag for body with 70-200 attached + 3 more lenses?

Think Tank Shape Shifter is right up your alley ! In mine: 2 x D3s + 3 lenses: 14 - 200 mm + Laptop + lots of free space. A 400 2.8 will fit vertically inside the main compartment. If I pack carefully I can get 4 lenses and 2 bodies "somewhere" inside the bag. Most backpacks are a PITA...

D4 or is rumours looking true that d4x on horrizon

I am of the opinion that you should buy what you want, what makes you happy and what you can afford. I doubt that a D4s/x will be released before 2014.
