Perfect David....nuff said..

Mart, pity about clipping the bottom of the cornet (?) (unless deliberate), but nevertheless that's a brilliant image! Colour, contrast, shape, love it.

^^^^^^^^^^^^

I like that very much.

Great light, great architectural lines and most of all a big person. I would be very proud of that shot.

Thanks People. Funny thing Flickr Explore is, because a far poorer photo from the same shoot and gear way out shadowed this one today (unless it trickles into Explore tomorrow). I know, I know, I shouldn't be a whore for Flickr counts. This one:

Has been viewed over 11,900 times since yesterday. Taken outside of the Courts of Justice. The only thing I liked about it was my reflection behind the oblivious photographer subject. Still, I don't rate the photo at all. Another of those bizarre Explore moments in Flickr I guess.

I went on another visit to the 'Gibberd Garden' near Old Harlow, Essex ( England) with a Camera Club friend -- I didn't take many as I had been before but here are few to show you -- there are lots of Statues and things --- some ;hidden' -- well of course, I FOUND the 'Hidden NUDE' -- I used for a change an old Praktica LTL I had saved from the Council Dump with three others ( gave some away) and a 50mm f2.8 Carl Zeiss Tessar and a 'gift' Tamron SP 3.5-4 70-210mm and outdated Kodak TCN 400 film

No idea, I suggest that you try to post them again, make sure that they are below 1024px on the longest side

Tbh i've had similar issues occassionally......i simply try again later and the gremlins seem to be off guard and let the images show!:D

Btw, i'm not sure on having a snake in here:p....i suppose being a "fictional" cobra makes it safer than the very much alive vipers in my back garden :D

Masterful Mr Yin (TBY) is where?....on his summer jollies perhaps?:)

I wondered where you were hanging out these days :D
Also and I'm not sure, its possible that if the file sizes are mega-Mb the forum may restrict the amount posted in one post.
Not being able to check the Mb on the images though, I have no idea if I am right or wrong in this case.

Fictional? Fictional? who you calling fictional? :p

He's never far away ;)

Rarely venture from the F&C salon nowadays..........................
I did hear that it (F&C) was rather like the hotel California :D

Hi!

Two shots from my latest roll:

Wj6MBnm.jpg

They were shot with a compact Canon camera (Sure Shot 70, I believe). Not certain about the film, but I believe it was Superia 200.
Question: why did I get these RGB stripes in the images? Is this a film, development, or scanning problem?

Best regards

A quick on-the-run snap of the nephew (at an age where they are all on the run) with the XA3. Poundland 400 home developed with the Tetenal kit. Linear scan converted with PerfectColor and just a small contrast boost in Lightroom. Really happy with how the colours are coming out now I've added the stop bath. Also, really liking this Poundland film. It's way better than I thought it would be.

Just AAMOI...we took the grandchildren up the road to Bulstrode park, the house behind the trees was built for hanging judge Jeffreys and assumed he owned the land once as well. Last year or was it the year before, a large portion of land was fenced off with a high non see through fence and Angelina Joli was in some film..quite amusing as I had a tele lens on my camera and was followed by two minders and I assume to make sure I kept to the public footpath and didn't climb a tree or whatever to take some shots

The kids enjoyed this herd of small horses who didn't seem to want to mix with the bigger herd of larger horses up on the hill.

All Canon 50mm f1.8 fdn, OOD Superia 200 and over sharpened by Asda.

Of course the kids wanted to see the other herd, Oh well, just watch out for midges\things that bite and horse s***e on the way
