Flower Power Thread

Camellias, captured in the past few days. Apart from the second one, these images all used exposure fusion (more details here if you are interested), using two or three captures with different exposures. I used a tripod and remote release for the 70D and FZ200 captures. The TZ60 captures were hand-held. All the captures were RAW. Basic processing was in Lightroom with exposure fusion done in Photomatix Pro.

Hi all,
well heres my punt for the flower power thread, inbetween shooting bugs and stuff small I also like to shoot flowers/small animals and whatever really.
I always shoot in "M" and with these shots I had the flash on, taken with a Tokina macro 100mm lens, I really like this lens for its sharpness.

I know Daisys are not really flowers as such but I thought i`d throw it in here anyway.
Thanks for looking.

Nice set of images Graham, some lovely lighting and good colours. Not too keen on the oof foreground in the Daisy shot but other than that very nice.(y)

George.

That's a good shot Bill, of some really pretty little flowers.(y)

George.

Yes I'm late to the party too ...I have this thread on my watch list but I've missed loads of great shots somehow....some absolute smashers on here since I last looked.

I've wandered into the garden a few times and not been too inspired but I decided today it was time to make an effort, there's not too much about but I managed to capture a bit of spring colour and thought I'd share it. :)

The first Bluebell I've seen this year.

Focus on this is a bit soft but I quite like it

These make up a really nice set of images Susie, I like them all very much.(y)

My fav' would have to be the Grape H, purely as it's one of my overall favorite flowers. Ours are nowhere near as advanced as yours yet.

George.

That's nice Susie, and very pleasant to look at. The softness you have created certainly works well with this shot, almost makes it look like a water colour painting.(y)

George.

I had another try today at getting a softer look and I was pleased with this tiny flower on the Aubretia, it's been so nice this week to have a wander round the garden in the warm sunshine.

Very nice feel to this little flower. You would like it here too, it's really starting to get warm now, should be about 20 tomorrow

Thanks Graham ...it been amazingly warm here too :) but am I right you're in the South of France, so probably not as warm as you are.
Correct and luvin it

Beautiful shots folks :) The pastel shots of the cowslips are really super Mark. I don't know how I miss them but I did just get this one for George...that's really pretty George but I'm not sure what it is.

As I'm here. a couple from me from this week ....I'm off on my hols and will hopefully get into the macro thread when I get back ....I never know if anything I take is worth posting but I'll try my best.
