Let's see some sunrise and sunset shots

Gorgeous shot, Ruth!

Thank you Garry. I'm proud to say that a very large version of that hangs on my chimney breast :D

Your shot has lovely light and colour.

Hayley your shot of the horses on the hilltop is just lovely...very evocative.

I haven't posted any pics for a while so it's about time I dug something out.

Possibly the last sunset photo I took (about a year ago with my old Furtydee and kit lens).

Can't tell if it's in focus or not at that size. Can you post it at a higher resolution?

When I touch the pic on my ipad it in largess. Perhaps that is why it looks so bad. I
I would repost it but I'm not sure how to post it bigger. I did look at it on my flicker account and it looks a lot better there,shame..

Getting this 'straightened' is proving to be a pain in the ass!

The way to post a photo that's hosted on Flickr is to go to the photo page, click the Share drop-down menu above the picture, click "Grab the HTML/BBCode", select the BBCode button, then copy the code in the box and paste it into your post here. I've done that below.

Since your subject is the jetty, I'd say that the focus is fine. The grass in the foreground looks slightly out of focus, but that's to be expected when the grass is blowing in the wind. It's called 'motion blur'.

Thanks Garry that looks much better. I think it was just the way I posted it.
