TalkPhotography Fantasy Football Leagues 22/23

There is a change at the top of the Head 2 Head league after a very long time, as Mrs Smith's Boys won their H2H with New Oak Utd 75-61, to go three points ahead of long time leader Amber Army, who lost their H2H with Banished to Riyadh 72-68. Amber Army had been leading since gameweek 3. :oops: :$ :clap:

I was lucky to win my H2H with horspath hounds 36-19 to remain in 3rd place, as we were both the lowest scorers of the week.

All other positions remained the same.

Amber Army's lead at the top of the TPFF league is down to 3 points! :oops: :$ Amber Army got 55 points this gameweek, and 2nd placed Tarric's Tot's got 71 to continue the run they are on over recent weeks.

Klopp Klopp Boom(88) swap positions with Banished to Riyadh(80) to get a little closer and moves up to 3rd.

Positions 5-7 remain the same.

Highest scorer of the week was Second Half Pints with 93 points. :clap:

Average point score for the week was 66.

I got 66 points, and drop down a place to 11. :( :LOL:

There is no Friday game this week, so the deadline for making changes is Sat 18th Feb @11:00.

In the Head 2 Head league, leader Mrs Smith's Boys won their H2H with RED BULLS HIT 62-49, to increase their lead at the top from 3-5 points. They are not 5 points ahead of Amber Army, :oops: :$ who lost their H2H with Tarric's Tot's 55-71, and drop to 3rd, but ahead of me, as I won my H2H with Penfold's Dangermice 66-60. :)

I had Haaland as my Captain, and would have lost this H2H if he had not scored, after not scoring in his first game of the week.

Amber Army and I go H2H this week, so they have a chance to regain 2nd place back. ;)

We have a change at the top of the TP FF League. :jawdrop: The 3 point lead of Amber Army(52) goes to a 5 point deficit, as Tarric's Tot's(60) move to the top. :clap: Amber Army had been leading since game week 3. :oops: :$

Everyone else stayed in their positions, apart from Medway United and Second Half Pints, who swapped places for the 2nd week in 8th and 9th.

Highest scorer of the week was horspath hounds with 68 points. :clap:

The average point score for the week was 44.

Thankfully I stayed in 11th position despite a poor week with 38 points.

Because of the Carabao Cup Final, there are number of teams not playing, though some others have two games. :thinking:

There is a Friday evening game, so the deadline for making changes Fri 24th Feb @18:30.

Leader of the Head 2 Head, Mrs Smith's Boys, lost their H2H with Klopp Klopp Boom 54-56. Their lead at the top is reduced to 3 points, not from me, :( but from Amber Army who beat me 52-38. So I drop to 3rd place after reaching the heady heights of 2nd. :rolleyes:

Tarric's Tot's swap places with Banished to Riyadh, moving up into 4th, after beating them 60-38.

The top two go H2H league, next week, and so there could be a new leader, a bigger gap, or the difference stays the same. ;) :LOL:

I haven't looked in here for a while. Good to see the updates still coming... Even though I'm way off the pace this year. Still, we're approaching a key period with lots of blanks and doubles to come in the upcoming weeks, so the thinking cap is on!

In a week of some games postponed because of the Carabao Cup Final, it was an opportunity for big point discrepancies as people managed, or not, missing points for some players. There were only four teams who didn't change position because of the cup final.

Two teams who didn't change positions were the top two. Tarric's Tot's(105) increased their lead over Amber Arny(78) to 32 points. Banished to Riyadh(87) swap places with Klopp Klopp Boom(70) to go ahead by one point.

Mrs Smith's Boys(93) move up to 5th, swapping places with Woody's wonders(45).

Highest scorers of the week were horspath hounds and Westzone with 121 points. :clap::clap:

The average point score for the week was a quite high, considering the postponed games, was 74.

I continued my poor form, after not managing the game reduction well, and with 48 point, fall two places to 13th. :oops: :$ :( :rolleyes: :LOL:

There is no Friday game this week, so the deadline for making changes is Sat 4th Mar @11:00.

In the Head2Head league the top two went up against each other, and last week's leader, Mrs Smith's Boys remain on top, and extending their lead to 6 points, after beating Amber Army 93-74.

I stay in 3rd place, despite losing my H2H with New Oak Utd, 48-58. Tarric's Tot's won their H2H with Woody's wonders in a not close 105-45, and are now 3 points behind me.

I'm surprised I did 'ok' considering I forgot to do transfers/changes before last Fri eve! Just to be sure, have them done for this weekend already
 
I was just checking back through the season so far and I've had a pretty good last ten weeks 9 W's and only 1 L just a pity I started the season with with the exact opposite 1W and 9 L's.
 
I thought Amber Army were in danger (not for them of course ;) ) of running away with it, but I'm glad that it come together a bit. It makes it more interesting. :)

But it does show that a good streak, either way :oops: :$, can make a big difference. :) Amber Army had an 8 point lead for a couple of weeks, but are now 6 points behind the current leader Mrs Smith's Boys. That's a big turnaround.

I often find I do better not making any changes. Last week Westlife got 121 and they have made hardly any changes.
Forgot to make any changes this week so will see if it works

It can oft be the case, but last week half my team weren't playing, I definitely would have gotten some extra points with transfer, luckilly it looks like @redhed17 did same so I managed to win that H2H :D
 
Jinxed myself well and good there, made a couple transfer this week and ... so far, worst. week. Ever! eurgh
 
Tarric's Tot's slightly increased their lead at the top to 36 points, after scoring 48 points compared to Amber Army's 44. Klopp Klopp Boom(51) moved back up into 3rd after swapping positions with Banished to Riyadh(42) again. Mrs Smith's Boys(45) stay in 5th.

The average points score for the week was 43, and most people were around that, as I think the Haaland effect happened again, where a lot of people have him, and when he doesn't score, it affects a lot of people.

Someone who bucked the trend was highest scorer of the week was Second Half Pints with 75 points. :clap:

I was below the average for another week with 40 points, but surprisingly moved up a place to 12th. :oops: :$ :)

No Friday game again this week, so the deadline for making changes is Sat 11th Mar @11:00.

In the Head 2 Head league, the top 2 both lost their H2H's. :oops: :$ Leader Mr's Smith's Boys, were beaten by Banished to Riyadh, 42-41. 2nd placed Amber Army lost against Woody's wonders 50-44, to stay 6 points behind the leader.

I was in 3rd, but went up against 4th placed Tarric's Tot's, and was beaten 48-40. :( That puts us on equal points, 2 points behind Amber Army, but Tarric's Tot's move into 3rd by having a massively better accumulated points total. :oops: :$

Banished to Riyadh stay in 5th after beating the leader, and are now just 1 point behind Tarric Tot's and I.

It was fun while it lasted! :D I missed a couple of deadlines and it made a big difference but there have been some great runs from others too to catch up and overtake. Keeps it interesting!
Thanks again for the regular updates.
 
I did also bring in Watkins and Toney, one has scored the other to play a second game so we shall see! Just jinxed Toney there maybe :D
 
The top 8 teams all stay in their previous positions, although leader Tarric's Tot's(77) lead is reduced to 18 points, as Amber Army a had good week with 95 points. 3rd placed Klopp Klopp Boom, and 4th placed Banished to Riyadh both got 101 points, and remain 8 points apart, but have a laege deficit to make up on the top two.

The average point score for the week was 63, which 14 out of the league exceeded.

The highest point score of the week was Penfold's Dangermice with 111. :clap: That moved them up two positions to 9th.

I had a surprisingly good week with 88 points, and maintain my 12th place. :)

There is a Friday game this week, so the deadline for making changes is Fri 17th Mar @18:30.

The top 3 in the Head 2 Head league all won, and so the differences between them stay the same. Leader Mrs Smith's Boys beat Woody's wonders 92-7. 2nd placed Amber Army won their H2H against horspath hounds 95-60, and remain 6 points behind the leader.

3rd placed Tarric's Tot's beat Second Half Pints 77-59 to remain just 2 points behind Amber Army.

I lost my H2H with Klopp Klopp Boom 88-101, but stay in 4th position.

Banished to Riyadh stay in 5th, 1 point behind me, after unluckily losing their H2H with Penfold's Dangermice 101-111. Penfold's Dangermice are now on equal points with Banished to Riyadh.

There were not many movements in the league, in a week affected by postponed matches because of the FA Cup games. Leader Tarric's Tot's(72) extended their lead to 40 points ahead of Amber Army(50). Klopp Klopp Boom(49) 3rd, Banished to Riyadh(33) in 4th, and Mrs Smith's Boys(48) in 5th.

The highest scorer of the week was leader Tarric's Tot's with 72 points. :clap:

The average point score for the week was 33 points.

After good week, I was again below the average with 31 points. :( But thankfully stay in 12th place, but now just 1 point ahead of RED BULLS HIT.

International break, so no games this weekend. The deadline for making changes is Sat 1st Apr @11:00.

In the Head2Head league, leader Mrs Smith's Boys lost their H2H with Tarric's Tot's 48-68. Mrs Smith's Boys lead is down to 3 points to Amber Army who won their H2H with Second Half Pints 46-33. Tarric's Tot's stay two points behind Amber Army after their win.

I drew my H2H with Woody's wonders 27-27, and stay in 4th place, now 5 points bhind Tarric's Tot's. I actually increased my lead of Banished to Riyadh in 5th to 2 points as the lost their H2H with horspath hounds 33-39.

With some teams having multiple games this past week, there were a lot of points on offer for some. Whilst leader Tarric's Tot's(106) maintain their position at the top, there is a new 2nd placed team, as Klopp Klopp Boom move above Amber Army (96), moving them down a position after getting 139 points. Klopp Klopp Boom are now 44 points behind the leader, and just 6 points ahead of Amber Army. Still in 4th, Banished to Riyadh, were highest scorer of the week with 143 points, :clap: and are now just 10 points behind Amber Army. :)

The average points score for the week was a quite high 80 points.

I did quite well for a change with 104 points, and maintain my 12th place. :)

No Friday game, so the deadline for making changes is Sat 8th Apr @11:00.

In the Head 2 Head league, all the top five teams won their H2H's, so the pont differences remain the same.

Leader Mrs Smith's Boys beat Second Half Pints by a not close 124-70, and stay 3 points ahead of Amber Army. Army Army won their H2H with New Oak Utd by a much closer 96-94 margin, and stay 2 points ahead of Tarric's Tot's.

3rd placed Tarric's Tot's came out ahead of Penfold's Dangermice by 106-100. I stay stay in 4th place, still 5 points behind, after beating RED BULLS HIT 104-97. Up until Wednesday's games they were ahead by 1 point, so glad things swung my way, despite us having similar players.

5th placed Banished to Riyadh beat a very unlucky Klopp Klopp Boom 143-135. :jawdrop: Klopp Klopp Boom would have beaten anyone else they would have been up against last week. :rolleyes:

I take on the leader Mrs Smith's Boys next week. :oops: :$ :LOL:

Fun fact, if I'd not transfered Haaland back in [took 4pts to do so] I'd have shaken things up a bit maybe by beating Amy ... then the prat doesn't even play lol
 
Similar scores for most squads, and the top 6 all stayed in their positions. Leader, Tarric's Tot's(63) increase their lead ahead of Klopp Klopp Boom(53) to 54 points. Amber Army(44) fall to 15 points behind Klopp Klopp Boom in 3rd. 4th placed Banished to Riyadh(47) are now just 7 points behind. Mrs Smith's Boys had a good with 64 points, and are 12 points behind banished to Riyadh in 5th.

Highest scorer of the week was was RED BULLS HIT with 73 points. :clap:

The average points score for the week was 54.

I had a good week with 63 points, but because RED BULLS HIT, who were behind me. got 73 points, and are now 2 points ahead of me, as I fall to 13th.

No Friday games this week, so the deadline for making changes is Sat 15th Apr @11:00.

Leader Mrs Smith's Boys, increased their lead after winning their Head 2 Head with me, :( in a close 64-63. Thankfully I stay in 4th place. :)

Tarric's Tot's move up to 2nd after beating horspath hounds in another close 63-62 H2H. Amber Army fall to 3rd, now 1 point behind Tarric's Tot's, after losing their H2H with Penfold's Dangermice 44-51.

Banished to Riyadh remain in 5th, despite losing their H2H with New Oak Utd 47-58. They are now on equal points with Penfold's Dangermice after their win Tarric' Tot's, but stay ahead on accumulated points.

I was slightly below the average, with 54 points, but thankfully have a bit of a gap to the team below me, YoYo Utd, and so remain in 13th place.

For those that may have not noticed, there are FA Cup Semi Final games this weekend affecting the league games. ;)

3rd placed Amber Army remain 1 point behind Tarric's Tot's after losing their H2H with RED BULLS HIT 52-63.

I won my H2H with Banished to Riyadh, 54-51, who were 2 points behind me in 5th, to extend my lead over them to 5 points, and am now 4 points behind Amber Army.

Yep a poor week Newcastle losing to the Villa and Arsenal throwing a 2 goal lead, never mind it makes for an interesting final few weeks.:)
 
An average score, but a good week for me even so, a green arrow overall and closing in on Tarric's Tots with a late season charge!!!!
