Yes, I know, you clicked on this just to see what on earth I am on about.
Well here it is - Yves Geza has just received a book from our daughter called 101 uses for a Jack Russell [we own 2 of the little blighters], which is basically all pictures of dogs with appropriate captions and is quite cute.
This of course got me thinking that the amassed talents of TP could do something similar - call it an extension of the Dog Appreciation thread if you like.
Have a look at this link for sample pages from the book so you get the idea, rather then me trying to explain that a dog licking a plate is of course 'A Dishwasher'

I thought we could all post pictures we already have and use it as a winter challenge to get photographs of our much loved mutts being...ahem...'useful' and show off their abilities.
Don't forget to include an appropriate caption.
The good thing about this is it something anyone of any level of photographic skill and ability can do and it doesn't even have to be your own dog, it could be a family member or friend that is the owner. Just get snapping and post them in this thread
Will have a trawl through my own russell pics and see if I can find anything appropriate to post straightaway.
ps. if you want to post pics of honorary dogs [cats, horses, rabbits, etc] you can, just don't tell anyone :-O

some brilliant pics already!! See, I knew our dogs were useful, we just need to give them the right job title
