The one I looked at allowed you to use the air remote to trigger it but not adjust the power. The power was adjusted by a physical dial you had to go up to the pack and turn. Have they changed that now??

Garry, if you just use 1 head you get the full 400Ws out of it. I really looked at the profoto when I got my quadra but the lack of remote power adjustment really killed it for me. That and the Elinchrom mods like the deep octa are awesome. I know JoeyL who uses profoto flashes still goes to...

It's actually quite a normal thing for flying. One thing which I couldn't get the hang of while flying is that when you're learning you nearly always end up in the left seat having to be left handed!

Be tempted! If 400W/S is what you need it's a great piece of kit and the heads are tiny. The LED modeling light is awesome for video as well...

Have you checked the diopeter? I think the d40 has one on the side of the viewfinder to adjust if you wear glasses. You might have knocked it.

Just get some cheap ebay triggers or some of FITP. If they fry no biggie.
