I used my 8mm fisheye for the interior and my kit lens outside on a house im doing up currently altho they where snaps really as the house is for me and not work some pictures came out with little distortion some came out with loads not had a chance to try and fix the distortion yet
Cheers guys ive actually come away from iceland with at least a few pictures im happy with taken with the 18-55 The rubbish pictures was user error rather than rubbish kit i just constantly found myself trying to quicky change lenses
No so much water but i left my A580 outside all night in minus 7 and apart from the battery being dead the front lens element frozen solid and the lcd screen frozen it all thawed out fine
Morning im looking for a walk about lens for my A580 ive been using my 18-55 kit lens but am after something with more zoom to save some time keep changing lenses my current lenses are

Sony 55-200
Lookin in the range of 18-200...
Personally i would go for a pc over a lappy because you can get a better screen and add more ram or better graphics cards later
Also look on some custom built gaming pc websites they build for you and you can get decent spec without all the rubbish software cheaper than you think
Me and a friend have just ordered a telescope to get some pictures of nebulas hes doing a gcse in astronomy im only really intrested in the photography side of things
He bought a skywatcher refractor with a goto mount cost 800 altho not sure on the model
Im not sure you going to get anything...
