    What's going on?

Is it affecting the image on the card, or just on the back of the camera?

    Wheelchair monopod

Why do you need a female thread? Are you thinking of attaching the base of a monopod to this? I'm thinking leverage will be your enemy here. I've used a "superclamp" for this plus a "magic arm" (I can provide links if you'd like, but not from my phone!). How's your neice's movement & control -...

What have you done with your camera today

Thanks Adam. I recently stumbled across the x-t10 and it really got my interest. I know little of the fuji range, or where the x-t10 sits within it, but I'm tempted to do some research - even though I'm quite happy with my own kit! Mike.

Which Fuji have you opted for, if I may ask? I've noticed this trend and wonder if I'm missing out!

Canon 85mm Prime (non L). Thoughts?

I love mine, too. I use it mostly for portraits, using a full frame camera, but find it too 'long' for indoor portraits using a crop sensor camera. That said, one time when I had enough space, it was great on a crop as well.

    100 Strangers **Complete** 15th July 2016.

I prefer the second Dana shot. Whilst looking at the first one, without knowing there was another photo, something didn't quite look right about her eyes - is she staring into the distance behind you, perhaps? Then I saw the alternative shot... no contest. Great work!

Helios 44 Thread - Russia's Best Kept Secret?

Is there any chance that the rear element of the Helios could be hit by the mirror? I'm talking full frame (5Diii), if that's a factor. Unless I've missed it, nobody's mentioned this through the thread. Mike.

Should've used a UV filter to protect it...

Only a flesh wound. I'm sure a certain photographer could still shoot a wedding with it.

    Canon 50mm 1.8 STM

    Agreed - mine was a present :-)

Simply beautiful. If you don't mind me asking, did you use an ND?

THE RHUBARB TRIANGLE AND OTHER STORIES: PHOTOGRAPHS BY MARTIN PARR

Me too, but settled on a £3/day rate here: 53.6781, -1.4931 (if you're lat/long inclined). Five minute walk and, usefully, the car park fence finishes at the south western corner otherwise it would have been a ten minute walk.

THE RHUBARB TRIANGLE AND OTHER STORIES: PHOTOGRAPHS BY MARTIN PARR

I went yesterday afternoon, too. I would have watched the film, but some bloke was hogging the sofa ;-) I confess, apart from a shot or two, I didn't really 'get' the rhubarb stuff. I really enjoyed his other collections though, and would go back again if I lived nearer. Thanks to the OP for...

    Tamron 24-70 v Sigma 24-105

Ok, ok, I hear you ;-) Creatively, an aperture of f/2.8 is more important to me than the 105mm focal length of the Sigma, so I agree with you (thank you for sharing your experiences) and the decision is made. Next, the painful part!
