Hello, need a bit of help for this one.... I will be shooting Champions League, FC Midtjylland vs Liverpool FC, in Denmark next week 9th Dec. I am looking for a UK agency who might be interested in images on a commission base. But who will be the best to contact? All suggestions are very much...

Pro football - hit me with some inspiration

I have been doing football photography for 15 years. Starting as an absolute amateur, working my way up the ranks. Now shooting danish "Premier League", cup-finals, Champions League, National Team etc. Can't really ask for more, or ... I like my work, my customers do too. But I still think that...

Info on Griffin Park, Brentford, needed...

Thank you very much, kelack and Seba. You have been very helpful. Fortunately I don't have to bother with the parking, as I am in the Holiday Inn, close to Griffin Park, guess I will just walk. I will remember Mark Fuller and also the celebrations. I had a look at some youtube videos from the...

Info on Griffin Park, Brentford, needed...

Hi, I am shooting at Griffin Park on Saturday for the first time (first time in UK, actually). Using 400 mm, 70-200mm and wideangle as third. As it is a new ground for me, I would like to know if anybody would be kind to share some experiences. I have been handed the media guideline, so the...

Dream of an amateur photographer – The UEFA Champions League

Thank you all, I would love to share some of the photos. From the first ones - with the kit lenses - all the way to the newest shoots. However, I think this forum is not for posting images??? Should I set them up externally on my website or which way will be best? I am not that experienced in...

Dream of an amateur photographer – The UEFA Champions League

Hi, Although I am Danish (sorry for my English), I often visit this great site. I have had great inspiration, reading the tips of more professional guys. I pick up bits and pieces every time I get around, and I would like to tell you my story, as it could be an inspiration to all beginners and...

    EOS 7D for football

I used the 100-400 Canon, which I find very good for daytime football. We don't have that much floodlight action over here! Besides that, the lights are terribly bad, when it actually does happen. Also use a Sigma 70-200, f2.8, but AF works not that fast with the Canon cameras as I would like...

    EOS 7D for football

Slowing AF sounds the opposite of what you would normally like... But I see the idea Mark, and will try so for the next match. Am I right, that it is setting C.Fn III-1 which should be adjusted towards SLOW. As a standard setting it is ZERO. My experience will follow :)

    EOS 7D for football

Thanks a lot, Paul. I managed to upload a gallery here at TP: Used single point AF and AF point extensions. However did not change any other C.Fn III-settings. Claus

    EOS 7D for football

Hi, I'm a danish amateur photographer, mostly shooting football. As we have no sportsphoto forums over here, I think this could be right for me. Having used the Canon EOS 50D for some years I have just bought the 7D - a fantastic camera. However the AF system of course is much different. Does...
