Have a look for KAP websites for ideas (kite arial photography) some of those guys are viewing and shooting from the kite and the have gimbals to point the camera in the fight direction too. Hope it helps.

They look good, have you experimented with moving the light nearer (makes it softer) and further away from the subject?
You can also experiment with the effect of moving the light around behind the subject vs bringing it in front...
Lots of fun to be had with a simple set up!
Nice write up, would have benefitted from a pull back shot to show your actual set up (and would have required fewer words [emoji6])
I like the idea of the image, the fork looks oof though which is a bit odd as the bubbles seem sharp enough... Nice reflections.
He lives local to me, nice bloke. He moderates a Facebook IR group and sells modified cameras via another FB page. I'm not sure why he no on get posts on here.
